So you want to be a monarch?
judging criteria I'm sure that for most of you, the thought of being King or Queen, the ruler of your land, is appealing. Many games have a hierarchy structure in place, and in some, horses audition. In others, the ones who get rewarded are the favorites or know the owner. Here at Chaos - we are doing things a little differently. If you want to be the king/queen, you are going to be judged on a number of things.
Our criteria is simple. We will judge your application on:
Other similar attributes will be considered. All of the above are considered at equal value, none are higher than others, and a character must possess all of the required traits and terms listed below.
king/queen duties Being the king or queen is a big responsibility. Here are the roles that the king and queen will be responsible for.
Kings and Queens CANNOT:
basic rules for everyone There are a few rules that we have for being king and queen, that have nothing to do with the player, but are still important to know.
i. One player may only play one king or queen. This means that if you are the Dark King, you cannot play the Dark Queen, Light King, or Dark Queen. There are four positions, to be played by four players.
ii. The King and Queen need to be from different classes. This means that there cannot be a War King and a War Queen on the same side. Why? This makes it more fair and gives others a chance. Also, a Kingdom should be well rounded. If there are two War horses acting as the royals, they will obviously favor war. This also means that you are competing not only with other males/females, but also with other classes.
iii. Your character must be Int/Adv
iv. You must be age 16+ (this ensures that you have the emotional maturity it takes to run a herd)
terms of acceptance Please read over this page carefully, and your written acceptance must be gained before you can audition. The buttons at the bottom of this page are an electronic signature, a contract and PROMISE to Chaos staff that you have read and understand the terms. If you have questions, ask. Failure to follow these rules will result in you losing your title immediately, and could result in being banned from the game alltogether. That being said, here are the rules to apply:
i. I understand that if I am selected as King/Queen, I still report to Chaos. I agree to defer to staff and admin in all matters.
ii. I will NOT cause any drama. Any instances of bringing ooc drama into the herd will NOT be tolerated. If I start being an ooc nuissance, I will lose my position.
iii. I understand that just because I become King/Queen does NOT mean that I am staff.
iv. I promise not to abuse my power by powerplaying, bossing other characters around, banishing characters, etc.
v. I promise to be fair and use good judgement when making decisions. This means, I will not give favoritism, etc.
vi. I promise to lead to the best of my ability, to treat newbies and herdmates with respect, and to teach others in a gentle and patient manner.
vii. I promise that if/when it is time for my character to step down, I will do so with dignity and without causing drama.
viii. I am age 16+ (this ensures that you have the emotional maturity it takes to run a herd)
AS A REMINDER: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN YOU LOSING YOUR TITLE, OR POSSIBLY BEING BANNED FROM CHAOS.
